Ladies day at Mancelona Camp 2010 is over. It was a wonderful time of food-starting at 12noon with a carry in luncheon, fellowship and a service of Praise and worship and the touching life story of Tina Turner from Flint Faith MC. Tina shared about her attic "treasures and cobwebs". The ladies shopped at the Book table, and raised over 100$ towards our fall Mission Project~Preserving Culinary Talents in Old Peoples Home #3 in Kazanlak Bulgaria. Thanks for your support towards this project!
Brown City Ladies Day is about 1 week away. We look forward to seeing you all at 10:00 am for the service. The Brown City Missionary Church Ladies will be decorating the platform for us, we look forward to seeing their "attic treasures". The book table with used Christian Fiction and non-fiction books available to you for a donation towards our fall mission project-Preserving Culinary Talents in Old Peoples Home #3 in Kazanlak Bulgaria. Mancelona Camp 2010 Ladies Day Tuesday July 20th will feature guest speaker Tina Turner from Flint Faith. She has a story that will touch your heart, and change your life! We are excited that she will be sharing with us. There will be a carry in luncheon at 12 noon, then the service will follow that time of fellowship. We will have a book table with a variety of fiction/non fiction for donations. The book table sponsors a chosen mission project of the Missionary church.
Brown City Camp 2010 Ladies Day Tuesday August 3rd will feature Canadian Guest speaker and author Sheila Wray Gregoire. We know you will find her humor, her stories and Bible teaching a real encouragement to press on towards the goal. You may enjoy getting to know her better through her blog, or website, and videos on you

We will also have a Book Table with Christian Fiction and non fiction books for donations going toward a specific Mission Project of the Missionary Church.

Sweet Life Cafe
We had 45 women gather at Warren Community church on February 27th for a wonderful day of fellowship. We had women from Calvary Missionary, Davison Missionary, Allen Road Missionary, Parkside Community, and Warren. Our mini session leaders were Evelyn Purdy, Karen Eldridge and Karen Connelly. Thanks to the Warren "Sweet Sisters" for leading us in worship, and to Warren for hosting us!

Our Michigan District Women have the opportunity to stand up and be counted as Representative Prayer Members (RPM). A wikepedia definition of RPM- is a unit of frequency. Sweet Life Cafe Mini Retreat
Your Michigan Missionary Church District Steering Committee is sponsoring a special event on Saturday February 27th. 52 women from our Metro Area Missionary churches will be meeting together at Warren Missionary Church for a day of Savoring time with each other and with God.
Although this event was open to all our Michigan District churches, we know due to logistics that the concentration of women would most likely be from our Metro area churches.
In April the Port Huron Church will have it's annual Ladies Day out, and this draws many women form the east and thumb area of Michigan.
On Tuesday July 20th is our Mancelona Camp Ladies day service. Tina Turner from Faith Missionary Church will be sharing her Heart touching story of God's healing in her life. I know you will be blessed and encouraged by her message! The ladies at Mancelona have a carry in luncheon OTG (On the Grounds)at noon , followed by the afternoon service. If you can join us for this special day, it will be worth the drive!
On Tuesday August 3rd is our Brown City Camp Ladies Day Service. Our Theme "Treasures in the Attic" will feature speaker and author-Sheila Wray Gregoire. If you would like to get to "know" Sheila before camp, you can follow her blog, or "see" her on You tube. http://tolovehonorandvacuum.blogspot.com/ We look forward to seeing you all during Brown City, and encourage those of you that may not be at camp for the whole time to drive in with a group from your church.
At the Sweet Life Cafe in February, and at Brown City Camp Ladies day, we will have a Book Table available. The proceeds from the February Sweet Life Cafe donations will go towards sponsoring 3 Pastors in Sierra Leone to go to a Pastor's retreat from the Yalunka 2010 project.
Michigan Missionary Church women are making an impact not only in our local churches but around the world. I would also encourage you to become a part of the Global Prayer Network. On the National Women's Missionary Church level, we have been asked to find a Prayer leader for every one of our 52 churches in Michigan. I would love to be able to report back that we are on the way to being a part of this most important ministry! If you are already a prayer warrior, and would like to "represent" your church I would love to be in contact with you. I can keep you updated with the Happening's stateside and around the world in the Missionary Church. Contact me at lordor@hotmail.com.

Missionary Church Women National Council Meets

As Director of the Michigan Missionary Church Women, I am priviledged to meet with the District leaders of the Missionary Church USA.
We met in person in November of 2009, and meet via phone conferencing approximately every month to pray, share ideas, and plans for each of our District Women's groups.
Michigan Women play a vital role in the Missionary Church. Missionary Church President Bill Hossler has asked that all the women's ministry groups strive to:
1. Identify and support prayer coodrdinators in every local churches.
2. Help churches focus on enthusiastic support of missions through prayer and volunteers.
3. Ideas and suggestion for aggresive outreach to unbelievers
We would love to have you share your ideas on how to implement these in our local Michigan Churches!

Sweet Life Cafe
Sweet Life Cafe is a half day "mini-retreat". It will include worship, 3 mini-sessions,and cafe groups, lunch, talking, sharing and eating, tasting and Savoring Time with God. Should be fun, informal, relaxing, rejuvinating and restful.
And yes, there will be Coffee!

All proceeds will go to a Missionary Church Missions project
